Summer Friendly Allergy Friendly Finds Volume IV

This post is dedicated solely to OTTER POPS! When I was running a non-profit for the food allergy community, we had a summer camp. It was SO hard to find snacks for such a vast array of children that had all sorts of food allergies, above and beyond the Top 8.

Being in the Arizona desert, we wanted to include more than the fun cookies, pretzels and other Top 8 friendly treats. We wanted something fun and summery, enter … Otter Pops!

Top 8 Free!

Healthy, they are not! However, they have such minimal ingredients that they were safe for 100% of the children at our summer camp! The kids were so excited over their bright colors, and eating something that everyone else was eating. They would come back for 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths!

We stock these in our fridge year-round. All my kids love them, and shoot, so do I! These bring back childhood memories. My favorite flavors ever since childhood are the blue and pink ones!! I remember fighting with my siblings over the blue and pink ones haha! That said, all the flavors are fun and refreshing. Check it out! They are labeled individually right there on the clear packets.

Ingredients:

Ingredients: water, high fructose corn syrup, contains 2% or less of the following: apple & pear juice from concentrate, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate (preservatives), red 40, yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1. Healthy? Not so much. Food allergy friendly find? For many people, yes!
