Family Tradition
Our family started a fun tradition a few years ago. Every Sunday evening we pick a movie to watch as a family. We make popcorn and everyone gets to pick a candy from our “candy basket”. Our kids look forward to this time so much! So do I! Life happens, and while we try our best, sometimes we miss Sunday’s, and we try to catch-up on Monday. So it’s either Cinema Sunday or Movie Monday… depending on how crazy our weekend is.
Lots of the candy we keep stocked is Top 8 Free (wheat, dairy, egg, soy, peanut, tree nut, shellfish, fin fish). Those 8 allergens account for 90% of all food allergies, however, you can be allergic to anything.
In our current stock we have a couple of varieties of Mike & Ike (Tropical Tycoon and Berry Blast), Dots, Milk Duds, Junior Mints, Junior Caramels (these are *new* to us and so yum!), traditional Swedish Fish, Assorted Swedish Fish, Willy Wonka Bottle Caps, Sour Patch Kids, Hot Tamales, Bean Boozled, Red Vines Jumbo Twists, Haribo Gummy Bears, Mini Cow Tales, Sixlets, Pop Rocks, Gummy Life Savers, Gimbals Flavored Jelly Beans, Wild Berry Skittles, and last but not least, Sour Punch Bites.
