There are some techniques and tricks to make sure they come out just perfect though!

1- After rinsing your strawberries let them reach room temperature.

2- Dry the berries VERY well with paper towels to try to remove all excess water and moisture.

3- When you put them to “set” in the fridge, only leave them in just long enough to set and no more, typically takes about 10-15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz bag of allergy friendly chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp grapeseed oil, other oil, or shortening
  • 2 1 lb containers of fresh whole strawberries

Instructions

  1. Rinse strawberries, and let sit to room temperature. Using a paper towel, soak up any extra water on all strawberries so that their exterior is very dry. Using a double boiler or microwave on :30 increments, stirring each time in-between, melt your chocolate with the oil. Next, dip your strawberries one by one, and set them on a wax paper covered cookie sheet. Let set in fridge for about 10-15 minutes and remove as soon as the chocolate is set up.
