Fluffy Halloween Slime

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Elmer's brand glue
  • 1 1/2 C Equate brand shaving cream for sensitive skin
  • 5 T Equate brand contact lens solution
  • 1-3 T gold glitter Depending on how much you love glitter. We added gold to orange, silver to purple, and black to green.

For Orange:

  • 36 drops yellow food coloring
  • 12 drops red food coloring

For Purple:

  • 48 drops of red food coloring
  • 32 drops of blue food coloring

For Green:

  • 18 drops of green food coloring
  • 6 drops of yellow food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the glue and shaving cream, mixing until well combined.
  2. Next, add your food coloring until you get the desired shade of orange you prefer. Mix well, until color is uniform.
  3. Optionally, add glitter at this point, folding into slime until evenly distributed.
  4. Finally, add 3 tablespoons of the contact lens solution. If your slime is still sticky, add 1 tablespoon at a time until it pulls away from bowl and can be played with and kneaded without being too sticky. This may be anywhere from 3 total tablespoons of lens solution, up to about 4-5. It is better to add slowly. Based on our recipe and measurements, 5 total tablespoons of lens solution was the magic number for us.

Have fun playing with your slime, and when you are ready to take a break, store it in an airtight container at room temperature.
