Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees

Ingredients

  • 12 Sugar Cone Ice Cream Cones
  • 1 16 oz Vanilla Frosting
  • 40 drops Green Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles, Candy, Cereal or Other Decorations

Instructions

  1. Remove cones from packaging and place upside down, so that the cone opening is face down on a paper plate. Stir in the food coloring with the vanilla frosting. Using popsicle sticks, plastic knives or other utensil, spread the frosting on the outside of the cone. Add decorations (sprinkles, candy, cereal) to the frosting to decorate your tree!

Recipe Notes

For the gluten free cones, I used Joy brand. This brand does contain soy, bu tis otherwise free of the top 8 allergens.

For the frosting I used Betty Crocker which is top 8 free, but labeled for may contain milk.

For the sprinkles, I used Wilton brand which contains soy. You can use whatever sprinkles, candy or cereal are safe for you. Some ideas are Dots candy, Skittles, Red Hots, Hot Tamales, Nerds, or cereal brands that are allergy friendly for you.
