Pizza Casserole | Allergy Friendly

Who loves a meal that’s quick, easy, allergy-friendly & everyone in the family gobbles it up?!

This is fantastic for lunches and dinners. You can even stock your refrigerator and pantry with staples for this meal to have on hand for those times when your in a jam, tired, or forgot to run to the store.

I also love that it’s versatile for different tastes not just for each family or batch made, but per person!

We make ours in thirds or fourths. We have some kids that just like cheese, some just like pepperoni, some just like Hawaiian, and I love Hawaiian with jalapeños!

It’s also very forgiving and even the kids can help measure ingredients and mix it up. It is nearly impossible to mess this recipe up!

This Pizza Casserole can be made free from gluten if you’re make my 7-Up or Sour Cream Biscuit recipes. If using your own allergy friendly baking mix or recipe, just make up enough for about 16 biscuits, shape them into 16 biscuits and then cut those 16 into quarters to use like canned biscuits.

It can also be made as-is with Annie’s Canned Biscuits or Grands Buttermilk Biscuits and would be soy, sesame, egg, peanut, tree nut, fin fish and shellfish free. Always read every label, every time, as products and manufacturing processes due change.

This is so easy friends! You’ll preheat your oven, grease a baking dish, mix the biscuits, sauce and cheese in a bowl. Pour that biscuit mixture into the greased pan, and then add cheese and toppings! Boom done put it in the oven and voila!

Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Biscuit Dough (8 biscuits per can), quartered Annie's or Grand's Biscuits
  • 1 8oz Jar of Pizza Sauce 1 C homemade
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Divided
  • Toppings (optional): Pepperoni, Ham, Pineapple, etc.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Quarter biscuits and place in large mixing bowl. Pour in sauce and 1 C cheese. Mix until biscuit pieces well coated. Pour into baking dish, and spread evenly.

    Sprinkle remaining cup of cheese evenly on top of biscuit mixture.

    Top as desired (pepperoni etc.).

    Bake for 30-35 minutes at 375°.
