The Best Chocolate Fudge

I have two favorite fudge recipes and I truly have the hardest time choosing which is my TOP choice for number 1! The Chocolate Marshmallow Chunk Fudge is seriously amazing and I could eat it all day, but this fudge is seriously perfection in every way that fudge should be. It has the perfect consistency. It is rich and decadent without going overboard. In fact, my father-in-law who has a very picky palate and hard to get a compliment out of, says my fudge is his favorite and THE BEST!

So without further ado, may I introduce you to, The Best Chocolate Fudge recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 6 T salted butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cup semi or milk chocolate chips (12 oz bag)
  • 1 7 oz jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans optional

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. In a medium pan bring the sugar, butter and evaporated milk to a gentle boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir constantly. Remove from heat, and add chocolate chips. Stir. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla. Using a handheld mixer, mix til smooth. Add in nuts (optional), and fold in. Pour into greased baking dish and let cool for 30-60 minutes before cutting into squares. We make this all the time with no nuts, and it still tastes amazing!
