I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! While there isn’t something for 100% of people with food allergies, the frozen food carts do have something for ALMOST everyone! Now keep in mind this is just the quick cart options, there’s so much more to explore, like the infamous Disneyland Dole Whips – gimme!!
The frozen snacks with the least amount of ingredients are the soft frozen Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade and Minute Maid Frozen Strawberry Lemonade from the Coca Cola company. They are free of the Top 8, but do have corn syrup which is a common food allergen.
The strawberry fruit bars from brand name Outshine are another great option if you find they will work for your food allergy situation. These have similar ingredients to the Minute Maid cups, minus the corn syrup!
Finally to round off the fruit options covered in this Volume of Disney’s Food Allergy Finds, is the adorably packaged Disney’s Frozen Olaf Lemonade Strawberry Frozen Bar by Helados Mexico brand. These sweet snacks have the least amount of ingredients besides one other awesome option we found, BUT are labeled for cross contamination with several Top 8. However, depending on your situation it may just work for you!
Now, I’m squeezing this in with the frozen treats even though it’s refrigerated not frozen. If strawberry Jello is a safe option for you, you can grab Mickey Mouse shaped strawberry Jello molds with optional whipped cream! That’s a cool idea, and so dang cute when it comes Mickey shaped an I right!?
Onto our dairy options by way of the quick frozen food cart treats. These will not be an option for as several food allergy folks as the items listed above due to the milk and cross contamination, but they are still an option for many. Nestle offers a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich in Cookies and Cream. It’s super stinking’ cute because it’s Mickey Mouse shaped of course! It also is creamy and yummy. Of the Top 8, it contains wheat, milk and soy. This product is not labeled for cross contamination.
I’m gonna go have a scoop of ice cream now, while I go steam of our next trip to the happiest place on earth!
